Descendants of West Virginia VARLEYs Lt. William and his brother, Cpt. John VARLEY gathered Oct 17, 1998 at the Varley Farms near Collinsville, in Grayson County, Texas, U.S.A.The day began with coffee and brownies as the group gathered, bringing their VARLEY pictures and stories to share. Some had not returned to the VARLEY Farms since childhood; some had not been in contact with "the family" for several years. The event was fun for all as memories were both stirred and made. After an enjoyable (and filling) lunch the whole decided to gather again in the year 2000!
