Varleys from ENGLAND to Australia

The story begins with William VARLEY born in Wakefield Yorkshire in the
circa 1700. His descendants lived in Leeds Yorkshire during the 1800's and Australia
from 1915. I have all my Varley ancestors back to William and would be interested in
linking up with other descendants.

Australian Varley connection is alive and well. My father Frank (Dick)
Varley (now deceased) followed his brother Jack Varley to
Australia in the early 1930's. Emigrating to Australia from Nottingham, England. Their
parents, Harold and Lillian Varley followed after the war in 1948. Both
commenced a career on the land as Jackaroos on a sheep station near Forbes in western New
South Wales.
Jack married Delwin and had two daughters, Ellen ( lives in Brisbane,
Australia) and Marrion (deceased) and a son John (who
now lives in Saskatuwan (sp?), Canada).
Frank, my father married Nancie and had two daughters Margaret
(Camden New South Wales), Elizabeth, (Sydney) and two sons Richard,
(Sarasota USA) and me, Peter, (Brisbane Queensland). |

b 1852 (Sydney NSW- d1913 (Newcastle NSW ). He was the son of William VARLEY
(b 1827 Manchester England -d 1900 Sydney ) & Eliza Ashton (b 1826
Yorkshire England-d 1914 Sydney). William & Eliza Varley arrived Sydney
Australia 1852. William was the son of Robert Varley &
Sarah-------?. Eliza A daughter of William Ashton & Hannah
Dyson -- end of trail. Have full family tree up to last 5 years. Clem
Varley, (Grandson G.H.Varley Pty Limited -Chairman) b 1936.
